BlueWave Attends Marcello Garcia Seminar…

In addition to bringing the best BJJ & MMA seminars to Suffolk, we also attend seminars and events hosted by other clubs around the country in an effort to continually increase the knowledge within the club and ensure we stay ahead of the game.  Sunday 8th February saw BlueWave members travel to Brighton to attend the first UK seminar from ADCC world champion and one of the best grapplers in the world: Marcello Garcia.

 Marcello is quite simply: amazing, his instruction and attitude were top notch.

The no-gi seminar covered a wide array of sweeps and reversals from the sitting open guard and included entries to the x-guard, a position created and made famous by Marcello.

Ryan Beauregard Seminar…

On Sunday 17th January, BlueWave Bury St Edmunds welcomed 2008 Brown Belt World Champion: Ryan Beauregard from Demetrius Ramos’ Tuscon BJJ Academy.
