English Open 2011 Medals…

A team of 20 club members competed at the 2011 English BJJ Open held at the Dartford Judo Center of Excellence on November 26/27th.

Established over the past few years as the biggest BJJ competition in the UK, the team fought well, some in brackets of over 30 competitors.

Congratulations to all who competed and represented BlueWave Martial Arts and to the following club members who took home medals:

- Maz Upson: GOLD (Womens White Belt Adult -53Kg)
- Chad Malley: BRONZE (Mens Purple Belt Masters -88Kg) & BRONZE (Mens Purple Absolute)
- Josh Palmer: BRONZE (Mens Purple Adult -100Kg)

The club opening hours of Chrostmas will be as follows:

- Last session Ipswich: Tuseday 20th December.
- Last session Bury St Edmunds: Wednesday 21st December.

- First session back Ipswich: Tuesday 3rd January 2012.
