Join the team from Blue Wave Martial Arts as they share their talents in a bid to raise funds for the Hospice. The team will be holding their energetic fundraiser – the 24-hour Jiu Jitsu Roll – at Unit 1 Gym later this week and are hoping as many as possible will join them. From 7pm on Friday (17 November) to 7pm the following day members of the club will be sparring and training non-stop as they hope to reach their target of £2,000 for the charity. From 9am-10am on Saturday there will also be a special session just for youngsters, with an hour just for parents to try out some moves on the mats afterwards. The event, which promises to be a fun introduction to the sport as well as a chance for the more experienced to share their talents, will also feature a live band as well as a raffle. All donations will be gratefully received. If you can’t make it to the event, but would like to support Blue Wave’s efforts you can do so here: stnicholashospicecare.echoleft.com/teams/24-hour-jiu-jitsu-roll
