Blue Wave Martial Arts is proud to be affiliated The Mighty Tom Barlow, Chelsea Leah & the Escapology Team. Having this affiliation strengthens our team giving us access to high level tuition, training experience and all importantly progression. Professor Tom Barlow and Head Coach Windy Miller work together to ensure the team are the best they can be.

Ren yoga
Lauren is trained in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, and is currently extending her practice into the teachings of Yin and Ashtanga.
Lauren’s classes are a blend of traditional and modern styles of vinyasa as it allows for making modifications on the mat to keep sequences interesting and suitable for our lifestyles in the west.
Our aim is to build strength in mind and body to support our members mentally and physically during practice and everyday life.
Lauren believes in finding mental and physical release in order to maintain balance in busy modern lives.
Yoga at Blue Wave is for every body.
Mac Robertson
Bury St Edmunds - Kyokushin Karate Club
Dojo operator: Shihan Mac Robertson 6th Dan and Branch Chief of So-Kyokushin UK.
Shihan Mac has been training and teaching Kyokushin for almost 50 years in the UK. In that time He has held many titles in Kumite and Kata tournaments, namely British Heavyweight Knockdown Champion and Placing 3rd In Kata in the All American Open to name but a few. However, Busy St Edmunds Kyokushin Karate club are renowned for created many champions over the years through Shihan Mac extensive knowledge and expertise, Shihan Mac teaches traditional Kyokushin Karate as taught by its founder Sosai Oyama.
He and Windy train regularly and Shihan Mac helps our older students transition to adult classes.

Jim is has been working with athletes of all levels for many years. Jim trains with us regularly and has an in depth knowledge of Martial Arts.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Globetrotters
Globetrotters offer an alternative to traditional affiliation within Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Membership of the community is open for anyone (both individuals and academies), and the main requirement to join is to spread—and agree with—our message.
The members don’t represent a specific person, academy, instructor or lineage. They are merely a world-wide community of people, who share a common set of values.
This very much fits with the Blue Wave ethos where we welcome visiting Jiu Jitsu players.
